Gardens's PicturesPages Trentham Italian Gardens (Nisis DV5)
More pictures of Italian gardens, this time not in Heaver Castle but as the title suggests in Trentham Gardens. As you can see by the picture it was a quite nice and sunny day. What you can't see is that it was a little cold but still nice enough. With only an hour to go before the gardens closed there wasn't much time to look around, so perhaps they will be worth another look when the weather is warmer and when we can get there earlier.

Castle Walls (Nisis DV5)
Here's a picture of Castle Walls in Conway, it's a strange place, the town is still surrounded by the walls and very little overspill, also on the way in it almost looks like the walls are still there to fortify the town with the main road running straight at the castle with water on each side. Unfortunately getting a good picture of the castle from the road is impossible (for me as I tried several times).

Italian Fountain (Nisis DV5)
The fountain just at the end of the Italian Garden. Looked really lovely, again better in good light.

Italian Garden (Nisis DV5)
Heaver castle and it's Italian garden. Would have been great on a clear day, but mist and low could caused a few problems. The lake looks wonderful.

All's Vine for Now (Sony Ericsson K700i)
A new arrival a grape vine. What's going to happen to it no-one knows. There are grapes there, but they were on it when it was bought. Seen some new growth, who knows. I have this stupid wish to see it fill all three sides of the garden... it'll never survive winter. That's not a scarecrow, it's my daughter. The shot was worked out quite well, waiting for the sun to cast a shadow, getting my daughter in the correct place. It's the execution that let it down.

Drummond Castle (Sony Ericsson K700i)
Drummond Castle near Crieff. A bit of a disjointed picture but it sort of explains how wonderful the gardens are.
