Duck's Pictures

Duck Three
Duck Three (Nikon D5300)

It was a walk out to Reddish Vale park to day allowing me to test out my upgrade to the D5000, the D5300. Using it's colour selection effect to pick out the orange on the ducks feet, I got this pic. In addition to this it tagged the pictures with the long lat which will will help with tagging the picture for the weather stats that I have on the site, however this will need a bit more work to strip the info. Still it's not the best picture every and only of note because of the orange tweak.

Duck Again
Duck Again (Minolta X500)

Another picture of Heaton Park and only developed later. No explanations are needed here really in that it's a duckling and it's sat down... near a stick... in Heaton Park. Is there any more you need to know. Oh it was taken with the Minolta with the zoom lens. Happy?

Closed Pleasureland
Closed Pleasureland (QTEK 9100)

This is a picture from between Xmas and New Year. I'm only putting this up because someone did a search for Pleasureland and found this site, so being a little late with everything as usual here's a pic of Southport's Pleasureland.

I must admit I am always attracted to closed or run down or abandoned places I don't know why, probably part of a "romantic" idea of being able to imagine the things that happened that you can gain from places like this only when they are closed and the hurly burly (or perhaps not since it closed) has disappeared.
